I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals find balance, healing, and personal growth.
Sometimes it can feel like life can lack joy, meaning and connection. The overwhelming weight of our responsibilities can feel so burdensome. Are you tired of "just getting by"? Are you ready to have more positive emotional connections to your experiences? It's time to raise the bar of living from "surviving" to "enjoying"! Together we will go on a journey to explore a deeper way of living that allows you to feel joy in a world full of stress. I will teach you how to strongly connect to your life (self, relationships, job, hobbies, etc.) in a fulfilling way.
I specialize in empowerment and unconditional self-efficacy. It's not situations and people that cause you emotional discomfort, it is the meaning that you assign to those situations and people. I will help you reframe life experiences in a way that does not hinder your ability to love yourself and enjoy life, no matter the circumstance. You will learn how to empower yourself in a nurturing way, allowing you to have an unconditional belief in yourself regardless of what obstacle presents itself.
In my practice, I work with adults and take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. This allows me to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. My warm yet assertive approach, combined with my outspoken belief in your abilities, creates a supportive, collaborative environment for you to speak your truth.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Old Westbury and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton.
Take back control of your life now!
