Working with Other Therapists

When you spend your days caring for others, it can be difficult to turn that care inward. You already know the coping skills. You understand how they’re supposed to work. And yet, when it comes to your own life, there can be a gap between knowing what helps and being able to access it.

My approach is focused on going deeper to help bridge that gap. Through thoughtful, explorative conversations, we move beyond insight you already have and into a clearer understanding of the patterns, emotional blocks, and internal dynamics shaping your experience. This deeper level of understanding helps explain why certain strategies don’t work in the moments you need them most—and what allows them to become accessible again.  Often, it’s not a lack of skill that keeps you stuck, but the conditions around you and within you.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, reflect honestly, and engage with parts of yourself that often get overlooked. The goal is meaningful understanding that leads to real, sustainable change—so the skills you already know can support you in a more integrated and authentic way.
